FundBrave is a decentralised fundraising platform built by people in the Logos movement. Logos Circle / Benin City used it to raise money for the medical care of a member's parents in 2026.

What it does

  • Donors can give in naira by bank transfer, or in USDC, ETH or DAI sent straight to a vault.
  • The campaign page offers "Stake & Earn": a donor stakes USDC in Aave V3 on Base, keeps the principal and shares the yield with the campaign.
  • The campaign page says every transaction is logged on-chain and lists no platform fees.
  • The README describes a wider design: social features, staking pools, optional anonymous donations and AI tools. It lists deployments on several EVM networks, including Polygon, Base, Celo and Arbitrum.

The Benin City campaign

  • At the May 2026 meetup, Logos Circle / Benin City heard that both parents of a member were seriously ill. The Circle opened a campaign on FundBrave for the family.
  • The crypto sits in a multisig. Moving it takes three of five signers, and three keys are held inside the Circle and the family. Each release is tied to a named treatment.
  • By 27 May 2026 the Circle had raised over ₦750,000 of a ₦1.5 million goal.
  • The campaign did not reach its final goal. On 22 July 2026 the Circle reported the mother's surgery a success.

Who runs it

  • FundBrave was presented at the Benin City Circle's meetup on 7 February 2026. The report described it as a "decentralized fundraising platform" combining social features with DeFi yield.
  • LAN Issue 1 says its founder is a Logos Regional Steward. The founder called the Benin City campaign "the most meaningful proof of the idea so far."
  • The February report named two open problems: onboarding people new to crypto wallets, and security where social features meet money.

Join or copy it

  • See a live campaign at benin.fundbrave.com.
  • The code is on GitHub under the MIT licence. It is a TypeScript monorepo with a Next.js frontend, a NestJS backend, Solidity contracts and a Python AI service. The README has a quick start that needs Node.js 18, Python 3.11, PostgreSQL and Redis.
  • The repository's contributing guide points newcomers to issues labelled "help wanted" and "difficulty:easy".
  • A Circle can copy the model from Benin City: a public campaign, a multisig with keys split between the Circle and the family, and each payout tied to a named need.
