Circles/Zanzibar
Logos Circle / Zanzibar is the Logos Circle in Zanzibar, Tanzania. It meets as the Impact Circle x Logos Circle, mostly in Chukwani, and brings together artists, students and coordinators. Its winnable issue is cutting single-use plastic through awareness built with music, poetry, dance, theatre and film. With the Straight Training Center, a community-run school for underprivileged and at-risk children, it raised US$2,000 for 10 Raspberry Pi computers and is raising US$1,500 for the school's rent for another year.

The Impact Circle show, a live performance on single-use plastic. The September report set the debut of a short version for 13 September 2026 in Jambiani, with a longer version to follow (t/1933).
Local context
The Zanzibar Circles took place at Zanzalu, a local community pop-up hub bringing together residents and international guests. Zanzibar, like much of Tanzania, faces a youth employment crisis, with high rates of unemployment and limited access to educational and vocational opportunities. The Circle aimed to identify a practical, achievable project that could make a tangible difference for young people in the community.
The sessions focused on supporting the Straight Training Center, a community-run school for underprivileged and at-risk children, with the aim of helping the children become more emplyable in the face of the crisis.
