DistributionX
What it does: Private allowlist distributions for the Logos Execution Zone
Stage: Prototype
Licence: MIT or Apache-2.0
Verified on 4 November 2026 against README and commit of 7 September 2026.
DistributionX is a tool for paying out to an allowlist without publishing recipient addresses. It runs on the Logos Execution Zone (LEZ), the Logos layer that runs on-chain programs, with a Basecamp app and a Logos core module. The code is published by the GitHub account Timidan. The README does not say whether it is an official Logos project.
What it does
- It lets a distributor fund an allowlist without publishing recipient addresses.
- The distributor creates an eligibility list and an encrypted claim bundle.
- The LEZ program stores a Merkle root (one hash that stands for the whole list) and funds the distribution vault.
- Each recipient proves one eligible row and submits a
claim_ppetransaction through LEZ privacy-preserving execution. - The program pays the recipient and records a nullifier in one transaction. A nullifier is a one-time tag that stops the same row being claimed twice without saying whose row it is.
- The README says the public state records the payout and the nullifier. The README says the private membership witness, the hidden data that proves a row is on the list, does not appear in the public transaction. The README notes that the distributor still knows the original eligibility list.
Stage: Prototype. The README states no stage. The version in metadata.json is 0.1.0, and the README reports a verified run on the LEZ public testnet. docs/TESTNET_EVIDENCE.md dates that run 15 August 2026.
Use it
The helper scripts need Bash 4 or later and are tested on Linux and macOS. The README asks for them to be run with bash explicitly.
- For the visual flow in Basecamp, run
bash scripts/start-basecamp.sh --reset-localnet --clean-user-dir. - To run the full command-line lifecycle with real proofs, run
bash scripts/e2e.sh ci-localnet. - The two package files,
distributionx-client.lgxandDistributionX-ui.lgx, can also be downloaded from the v0.1.0 release.
Build it
bash scripts/package.shbuilds and verifies both Logos package files and a SHA256SUMS file.bash scripts/ci-local.sh quickruns fast checks, andbash scripts/ci-local.sh allruns the full local CI suite.
Releases
- Latest tag: v0.1.0, 14 August 2026. The README links a v0.1.0 release page.
- Version in metadata.json: 0.1.0, for both the Basecamp app (distributionx) and the core module (distributionx_client).
