Logos Circle / Kampala first met on 24 April 2026 at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. The Circle started with transparent school and hospital fees and moved on to transparent funds management for SACCOs (savings and credit co-operatives), using smart contracts on the Logos testnet.

Working on

Transparent SACCO Funds Management. Before the July meetup three members visited several SACCOs in and around Kampala and listed 12 recurring problems. In August 60 people joined a builders session and were split into workstreams. The September report lists a working prototype as the next step (t/1806, t/1928, t/1962).
