An Activist Builder is one of the roles in the Logos movement. Activist Builders turn community needs into working tools, systems, research, media and infrastructure. The aim is to help communities coordinate and become more self-reliant.

Who it is for

The role is for people who make things and want to use those skills on real problems. The Circles handbook lists it next to two other roles: the activist or participant, and the Circle Steward who organises a local Circle.

If you mainly want to build apps on the Logos stack, the Activist Builder page points you to the Builders Hub instead. See also λPrize and RFPs.

How to apply

  1. Open the form at logos.co/activist-builder.
  2. Give your name, city, country, email and skills. You can add organisations, a website or social links, and a chat handle.
  3. Say how you first heard about Logos.
  4. Describe your background and what you would like to build, in up to 2,000 characters.
  5. Name technologies that could help your local community, in up to 2,000 characters.
  6. Add any questions, and choose whether to get city event updates or the Logos newsletter.
  7. Submit. Logos says it will review your application and get back to you.

Submitting the form means you consent to Logos processing your data under its privacy policy.

The page lists no deadline. It does not mention pay or other benefits.
